Just Life Sciences are seeking a Head of Analytical Chemistry for a Global Life Science business, being responsible for the whole of the Analytical Chemistry function, you will have substantial experience within Analytical Chemistry.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• As an Analytical Chemistry manager you will manage day to day running of the analytical team and facilities supporting internal R&D, Production, Quality and Regulatory customers.
• Duties
• • Ensuring compliance of testing according to documented internal processes
• • Engage with site wide continuous improvement projects and where appropriate across manufacturing sites globally ensuring standardisation of testing and results.
• • Planning and executing departmental continuous programs including implementation of new systems to increase productivity
• • Ensuring relevant departmental workload is structured and delivered in time
• • Ensuring effective team training and departmental compliance
• Qualifications and Experience
• • 5 or more years’ experience in a supervisor or management role in a quality or analytical laboratory
• • Degree in physical sciences, ideally a higher degree
• • Expert knowledge of analytical techniques and method development, ideally in chromatography methods and instrumentation
• • Working knowledge ISO9001 and GxP standards and requirements
