Just Life Sciences are looking for a Quality Officer to join their client in Swansea, who will provide and support the Quality Assurance activities at site. To ensure that all activities associated with quality of the production and wholesaling operations are in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Key Job Responsibilities
• Pre and Post Production Quality Checks
• Ensuring all activities carried out follow the company’s standard operational procedures and keep within the guidelines set out in current good manufacturing and distribution practices.
• Regularly monitoring the production floor to review documentation and to perform line clearances and QA checks.
• Assist in preparation and review of Technical Agreements.
• Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR’s) to ensure compliance with GMP.
• Design of labels and approval.
• Assist in management of change controls.
• Carry out internal audits according to the audit schedule to ensure adherence to GMP/GDP.
• Providing training to colleagues when required.
• Manage the SOP database.
• To assist the Qualified Person (QP) in the execution of their duties if asked to do so.
• Attend quality meetings and assist the Senior Quality Officer in ensuring any required actions are completed in a timely manner.
Personal Profile
The successful candidate will be commercially minded and have a ideally a sound understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems and processes along with knowledge of EU GMP and GDP.
• The person will hold the following attributes:
• Demonstrable experience within a Quality Assurance role, or related (Essential).
• Life Sciences Graduate or Graduate calibre, Technician (Desirable).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrable business and commercial awareness.
• Experience of working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong administrator with good oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrate keyboard skills in Word, Excel, and Access.
